Hrm. The basic idea is nice. Perhaps maybe why you're not happy with it is cause it lacks the depth that some of your other pieces have? Might try adding something to the bottom right...Perhaps fade yellow concentric circles back or something? Pull some lines from that corner towards the subject in a contrasting colour?
